The pandemic pivot has impacted what everyone wears to work these days. Comfort is what most people are looking for these days, as loungewear has had a surge in retail sales. Sales for pajamas increased in late spring while sales for pants dropped. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/12/what-shoppers-are-buying-comfort-is-key-as-virus-keeps-people-home.html
I have grown accustomed to wearing loungewear while working from home. The question I'd ask myself about my outfit choices was, "Would I want to be seen in this outfit?"
I didn't want to sacrifice comfort, but I still wanted to dress professionally. In the spring, I ordered four cardigans from Old Navy that I could wear as "work" jackets of sorts. The cardigans have worked because they give me a suit jacket's feel without feeling stiff and buttoned up. Every day, I pair a cardigan with black leggings and a t-shirt or blouse underneath. If I'm feeling adventurous, I accessorize with a pair of hoop earrings or studs and a necklace.
Below is an an outfit that is my go to. I feel comfortable in it, fresh and trendy. And the best part is that I can still wear leggings.

Cardigan
Loafers
Earrings
Blouse
Leggings
